Materials

& Methods: Endo.Wiki is developed using NextJS for the patient-facing web portal and custom integrated into a CIS (e.g., Cgm Medico / Visual Basic). This integration facilitates the structural data entry by physicians, including critical metrics like the #ENZIAN score for endometriosis. Upon consultation completion, the system automatically generates a discharge letter that includes a QR code. This QR code encapsulates anonymized structured patient data, ensuring privacy and security. When scanned, the QR code grants patients access to a personalized leaflet via the web portal, which provides detailed insights into their diagnostic results and physician-recommended treatment plans.

Results

The prototype of Endo.Wiki has been implemented and is currently in the testing phase. Our approach promises to bridge the gap between clinical data entry and patient comprehension, thereby fostering a more informed patient community and enhancing the quality of care in endometriosis management. Summary: Endo.Wiki offers an intuitive physician-focused structured data entry which can be utilized for patient-focused data presentation. Future use cases are supposed to include clinical research.
