Abstract
Objective:To study the levels of TNF-α and anti-endometrial antibody in peritoneal fluid of women with endometriosis, explore their roles in pathogenesis of endometriosis. Methods:Peritoreal fluid level of TNF-α was measured by RIA and peritoneal fluid level of anti-endometrial antibody was measured by ELISA in 56 patients(case group) with endometriosis and 59 normal women(control group). Results:Peritoneal fluid level of TNF-α in case group were significantly higher than that in control group, and peritoneal fluid level of TNF-α in Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage was significantly higher than that in Ⅰ~Ⅱ stage(P0.01).The levels of anti-endometrial antibody had significant difference between case group and control group(P0.05).The level of anti-endometrial antibody in Ⅲ~Ⅳ stage was higher than that in Ⅰ~Ⅱ stage(P0.05).Conclusion:TNF-α and anti-endometrial antibody in peritoneal fluid play an important role in pathogenesis of endometriosis.
