Abstract

93 patients were examined in order to determine the possible clinical risk factors for recurrence of external genital endometriosis. They underwent surgical treatment about this disease. Patients were divided into two groups of comparison with and without recurrence of endometriosis within two years. Clinical and anamnestic data, ultrasound picture, assessment of pain using scales NRC and Biberoglu and Behrman have been analyzed. Prevalence of pathological process during the operation and the presence and severity of adhesions in patients were evaluated. There was an association between the presence of adhesions and the risk of disease recurrence. The significance of a rating scale of pain Biberoglu and Behrman to determine the prevalence of pathological process were determined. This information can be used in clinical practice to assess the risk of recurrence of the disease.
