Abstract
Background : Infertility is the capabiling of couple to
spontaneously conceive, the length of time in which the couple is
considered infertile is 1 year without protection during intercourse, one
of the most cause of infertility is endometriosis. Endometriosis is the
growth of endometrial glands andstroma derived from the uterine.IVF
is an appropriate treatment especially when the function of the fallopian
tube is disturbed (Darmasetiawan, 2006)
Method : The method of this study is observational analytics using
secondary data. The information was obtained from medical records by
compare the ratio of oocyte and embryo in endometriosis and non
endometriosis patient in GrahaAmerta RSUD Dr.Soetomo Surabaya
using Mann-Whitney test.
Result : In this study the group with the largest number of oocyte
obtained is 16-20 oocyte with 10 people (31,25%) in non endometriosis
patients. While in patients with endometriosis, the group with the
highest number of oocyte were 6-10 oocyte with 14 people (43,76%).
For the number of embyos in the non endometriosisatients the largest
group was 6-10 embryo with 13 people (40,62%) endometriosis
patients the largest group was 6-10 embrios with 13 people (40,62%).
Conclusion : There was difference between oocyte count in
endometriosis and non endometriosis patients (p = 0,018). As for the
number of embryos there was no difference between endometriosis and
non endometriosis patient (p = 0,147).
