Abstract
Objective:To explore the expressions and significances of Survivin and Livin in endometriosis.Methods:80 samples of eutopic endometrium of cases after hysterectomy because of adenomyosis were collected as experimental group;meanwhile,45 samples of eutopic endometrium of cases after hysterectomy because of endometriosis were collected as control group.Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression levels of Survivin and Livin, then correlation analysis was conducted. Results:The expression levels of Survivin and Livin in experimental group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Endometrium of patients with endometriosis is different from normal endometrium, whose susceptibility to apoptosis is low,the abnormal endometrium has the ability to survive after backflow of menstrual blood into pelvic cavity, and it can escape various stimulations of apoptosis-inducing signals in pelvic cavity, form ectopic lesions. At the same time,it can cause the invasion of endometrial tissues into myometrium, and then adenomyosis occurs.
