Abstract

Objective To explore the ultrasonic diagnosis of adenomyosis and discover the characteristics of its sonograms,so as to improve the diagnostic accuracy rate.Methods The sonograms of 42 cases with pathology or clinic confirmed adenomyosis were retrospectively analyzed and categorized.Results Thirty-nine cases were ultrasonic diagnosed with adenomyosis,the accuracy rate of ultrasonic diagnosis was 92.9%(39/42),one case was misdiagnosis,two cases were missed diagnosis.The sonogram echograms of adenomyosis could be categorized into 5 types.Conclusion Ultrasound as a noninvasive,safe and repeatable examination with high accuracy rate,holds important application value for the diagnosis of adenomyosis.
