Influence of Effective Fractions of Huayu Zhitong Prescription on Proliferation and Bcl-2 and Bax Expression in Adenomyosis Cells

Objective To explore the influence of the active components of Huayu Zhitong Prescription(HZP)on the proliferation,Bcl-2 and Bax expression in adenomyosis cells.Methods Adenomyosis cells were digested with collagenase for primary culture.MTT was performed to observe the proliferation of adenomyosis cells,and immunocytochemical assay was applied to detect the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax.Results Alcohol extract,water extract and alcohol precipitation liquid,the sediments from the water extraction and alcohol precipitation,and the volatile oil of HZP decreased the proliferation activity and Bcl-2 expression in a dose-dependent manner(P 0.05).The high-concentration sediments from the water extraction and alcohol precipitation as well as the volatile oil increased the expression of Bax increased significantly(P 0.05).There was no statistical significance in other HZP extract groups(P 0.05).Conclusion Inhibiting cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis of adenomyosis cells may be one of the therapeutic mechanisms of Huayu Zhitong Prescription for adenomyosis,and the role of the volatile oil of Huayu Zhitong Prescription has the best effect.
