[Effect of synthetic progestins on carbohydrate metabolism and the content of anti-insulin hormones].

The paper studied the time course of the content of somatotropin adrenocorticotropic hormone hydrocortisole by the radioimmunological method. A state of the carbohydrate metabolism in 76 patients with endometriosis and in 42 healthy women who had employed synthetic progestins (infecundin bisecurin) with therapeutic and contraceptive aims were also investigated. It has been found that the detected disorders of the carbohydrate metabolism in most of the patients are of a transitive nature. (Authors modified) (Summary in ENG)
