Clinical observation on 86 cases treated with mifepristone after endometriosis surgery

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of mifepristone in treatment of cases with endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery. Methods:86 cases with endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery were divided into treatment group(treated with mifepristone,46 cases) and control group(treated with simple laparoscopic surgery,40 cases) randomly;the remission rates,recurrence rates and pregnancy rates in the two groups were compared. Results:The remission rates in treatment group and control group were 91.30% and 77.50%,respectively,there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).The recurrence rates in treatment group and control group were 15.22% and 37.50%,respectively,there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01).The pregnancy rates in treatment group and control group were 46.67% and 16.67%,respectively,there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.01). Conclusion:For the cases with endometriosis after laparoscopic surgery,mifepristone can relieve symptoms effectively,reduce recurrence rate and increase pregnancy rate,which has less adverse reactions,it is worth popularization.
