Results show significant differentiation with an overall upward trend. Northern cities like Urumqi, Changji, and Karamay lead in growth, forming a "strong north-weak south" pattern. The north has a stable high-high (HH) agglomeration along the Northern Tianshan Economic Belt, expanding under the "Belt and Road" initiative. The south, mostly low-low (LL), sees limited improvement in Kashgar and Hotan, with some resource-based cities developing through the new energy industry. The spatial correlation network evolves from isolated to networked, with technology diffusing from north to south. The core area is in northern Xinjiang, while the south has low participation. In conclusion, northern Xinjiang leads in low-carbon transformation, while the south lags and needs policy support. Regional cooperation is insufficient. gravity model, and spatial analysis. Results show significant differentiation with an overall upward trend. Northern cities like Urumqi, Changji, and Karamay lead in growth, forming a \"strong north-weak south\" pattern. The north has a stable high-high (HH) agglomeration along the Northern Tianshan Economic Belt, expanding under the \"Belt and Road\" initiative. The south, mostly low-low (LL), sees limited improvement in Kashgar and Hotan, with some resource-based cities developing through the new energy industry. The spatial correlation network evolves from isolated to networked, with technology diffusing from north to south. The core area is in northern Xinjiang, while the south has low participation. In conclusion, northern Xinjiang leads in low-carbon transformation, while the south lags and needs policy support.
