The clinical analysis of subtotal hysterectomy for adenomyosis

Objective To observe the clinical outcomes of subtotal hysterectomy for adenomyosis.Methods 60 adeno myosis patients in our hospital from 2011 to 2012 were selected and randomly divided into the observation group ( n=30) and the control group (n=30).The obse rvation group was given subtotal hysterectomy,while the control group was given conventional total hysterectomy.All patients were followed up for one year and the estrogen (E2 ),luteinizing hormone (LH),follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) were measured before and 6 months after surgery respectively.Results The level of E2,LH,FSH in the observation group was significantly better than that in control group ( P0.05).Conclusion Subtotal hysterectomy in treatment of adenomyosis is safe and effective,it has little effect to hormone level,should be expanded in clinic.
