Abstract
Objective: By observing the effect of Xiaoyi Formula on the apoptosis of ectopic endometrial cells of endometriosis rats to investigate the mechanism of Xiaoyi Formula in the treatment of endometriosis. Methods: After the success of modeling,the rats were randomly divided into 6 groups: model group,Sanjie Zhentong Capsule group,mifepristone group,low dose of Xiaoyi Formula group,middle dose of Xiaoyi Formula group,high dose of Xiaoyi Formula group. Four weeks after medication,the apoptosis rate of ectopic endometrial cells was detected by TUNEL and Caspase- 3 and survivin were tested by immunohistochemistry method. Result: The apoptosis rate of ectopic endometrial cells and Caspase- 3 in model group was lower than that of each Xiaoyi Formula groups. The survivin in model group was higher than that of each Xiaoyi Formula groups. Conclusion: Xiaoyi Formula can significantly restrain the growth of ectopic endometrium by inducing apoptosis of ectopic endometrial cells.
