Identification of key molecules and significant signaling pathways in HNRNPK regulated lung cancer cells

Abstract
Lung cancer is the primary cause of cancer deaths in the United States. Many potential therapeutic targets for which drugs are constantly under development. Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein K (HNRNPK) is a regulatory protein that is related to various cancer development. However, the mechanism is still not clear. Here, our objective is to identify the key molecules and signaling pathways by analyzing the RNA-seq data. The GSE197946 was created by the Illumina HiSeq 2000 (Homo sapiens). The KEGG and GO analyses revealed Apelin signaling pathway and Oxytocin signaling pathway were the main changed biological processes. Moreover, we further identified several interactive genes including EGFR, FOS, NOTCH1, EGR1, MMP2, ITGAM, PRKACB, ICAM1, H6PD, and SPP1. Our study may provide novel insights into the treatment of lung cancer.
