Abstract

Neben den klassischen Methoden der Operation und der Bestrahlung zur Behandlung der Endometriose hat sich in den letzten 2 Jahrzehnten die medikamentös-hormonale Therapie sehr stark in den Vordergrund geschoben. Es scheint mir notwendig, diese beiden Verfahren gegeneinander abzugrenzen, weil man aus der Literatur der letzten Jahre den Eindruck gewinnen könnte, wie wenn die Operation durch die medikamentöse Therapie ersetzt werden könnte.
