Evaluation on clinical effect of Tongjinglin Granules for endometriosis

Objective:To study the clinical effect and machanism of Tongjinglin Granules for endometriosis.Methods: Patients with endometriosis were divided into two groups, treated with Tongjinglin Granules and Tamoxifen citrate, respectively.Results: The total effective rates were 93.33% for Tongjinglin group and 88.33% for Tamoxifen citrate group in treating endometriosis. The pregnancy rates were 55.56% and 35.29%, respectively. The cure rates were 38.33% and 20.00%,respectively. There were significant differences between two groups in the cure rate (P0.05),also in clinical effect according to pattern identification and types of TCM(P0.05). The cure ratc of Tongjinglin Granules in progressive dysmenorrhea was 44.07, higher than Tamoxifen citrate group. The significant difference existed between two groups (P0.05). The cure rate of Tongjinglin Granules for menstrual disorder was up to 83.33%, but patients'menstruation obviously reduced after they take Tamoxifen citrate, even amenia occured. No toxicity and side effects were observed in long-term use of Tongjingun Granules. It also can regulate menstrual disordar. Conclusion:Tongjinglin Granules can be effective for endometriosis
