Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Shaohong Xiaojie Granule on estrogen level,progesterone level,estrogen receptors(ER) and progesterone receptors(PR) in rats of endometriosis and investigate the mechanisms of Shaohong Xiaojie Granule in treating endometriosis.Methods Female unpregnant SD rats were randomly divided into blank group,sham group,model group,large-dose,medium-dose and small-dose of Shaohong Xiaojie Granule groups.Different dose groups(0.75g/ml,1.5g/ml,and 3g/ml,equal to 0.5time,1time and 2times of clinical dosage) of Shaohong Xiaojie Granule were given 5ml/kg of Shaohong Xiaojie Granule orally once a day for 4 weeks.The blank,sham and model groups were given 0.9% NaCl solution respectively.The RIA was used to measure the level of serum E2 and serum P in rats of endometriosis.The RT-PCR was used to detect the expressions of ERmRNA and PRmRNA.Results The serum P level in small-dose group was significantly lower than that in the model group(P0.01).The expression of ERmRNA in small-dose group was significantly lower than that in the model group(P0.01).Conclusion Shaohong Xiaojie Granule can lower the serum P level and decrease the expression of ERmRNA in rats to treat endometriosis.
