ANALYSIS ON CLINICAL EFFECT OF SMALL DOSE OF MIFEPRISTONE IN THE TREATMENT OF UTERINE ADENOMYOSIS

Abstract

[Objective] To investigate the effects of mifepristone in the treatment of adenomyosis.[Methods] 72 patients with clinical symptoms and ultrasound or endoscopic diagnosis as uterine adenomyosis patients were given with 10 mg mifepristone,once a day,for 6 months.Before and after the treatment,carried out gynecological examination,transvaginal ultrasound B inspections for uterus and annex,at the same time,observed the menstrual changes,changes in hormone levels and uterine size,adverse reactions and recurrence before treatment and medication for 6 months.[Results] All patients had amenorrhea;after the treatment,the grading of dysmenorrhea was significantly lower than those before treatment(P﹤ 0.01);the levels of serum FSH,LH,E2 levels decreased compared with before treatment;uterine volume through B-mode ultrasonography examination was significantly reduced.[Conclusion] Mifepristone in the treatment of adenomyosis can effectively control the dysmenorrhea,reduce the amount of menstruation,induce amenorrhea,short-term curative effect is obvious.
