Effects of medicinal therapy for ovarin endometrioma after surgery

Objective To observe clinical effect of combined treatment of gestrinone and mifepristone for ovarian endometrioma after conservative surgery.Methods All 162 patients with ovarian endometrioma after conservative surgery were divided into 3 groups:the patients in group A were treated by little dosage mifepristone combining with gestrinone(62 cases),patients in group B treated by gestrinone(54 cases),and patients in group C were simple surgery group(46 cases).Patients were followed up for 2 years.The total efficacies,relapse rate,side effects and pregnancy rate were compared among these three groups.Results The total efficacies in group A was obviously higher than those in group B or C,while the relapse rate was significantly lower.In group A and B the side effects had no obviously statistical difference.The pregnancy rate in infertility patients had no obviously statistical difference after surgery in these 3 groups.Conclusion The total efficacies rate is higher and the relapse rate is lower in little dosage mifepristone combining with gestrinone after the conservative surgery in the treatment of ovarian endometrioma.And there is no obvious increase of pregnancy rate after surgery when treated with medicine.
