Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a) combined with placed levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system(LNG-IUS) in the treatment of adenomyosis. Methods All patients of 18 cases of adenomyosis were injected subcutaneously with 3.75 mg triptorelin, every 4 weeks for 1 times, after a total of 3 courses(28 days for a course). The LNG-IUS was placed when the uterine cavity depth is less than 10 cm.The menstrual quantity PBAC score and pain score of VAS were measured and the corresponding uterine volume was detected after treatment for 6,12 months. The LNG-IUS was placed. The subsequent and consolidation effect of combined treatment were evaluated. Results The differences of the dysmenorrhea degree, menstrual quantity are statistically significant(P 0.05) and uterine volume was not statistically significant(P0.05) compared with before treatment and after treatment with the LNG-IUS placed for 6,12 months. Conclusion GnRH-a combined with LNG-IUS has exactly clinical curative effect in treatment of adenomyosis.
