Abstract

The event-triggered synchronization problem of discrete-time CVNNs characterized by mixed delays is investigated in this paper. Firstly, to enhance communication efficiency, we propose a switched event triggered mechanism (ETM) as an improvement over the conventional continuous-time ETM. In addition, our designed saturation controller exhibits switching property owing to the model’s switching feature. Subsequently, we develop a Lyapunov function suitable for analyzing the synchronization of the discrete neural network, and obtain sufficient conditions for model synchronization. Finally, the effectiveness of our proposed method is demonstrated through a numerical example.
