Clinical analysis on intrauterine insemination due to different causes.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of intrauterine insemination(AIH / IUI) due to different causes of infertility.Methods: The clinical pregnancy rate of 1640 cycles in 1244 couples undergoing intrauterine insemination,in Zhejiang Province Women's Hospital Fertility Center Infertility implementation from January 2007 to December 2007,was statistical analyzed and compared.And all couples were divided according to different causes of infertility;the clinical pregnancy rate was compared.Results: The clinical pregnancy rate was 11.10% per cycle and 14.63% per patient.The clinical pregnancy rate of primary infertility group was higher than that of secondary infertility group(18.4% versus 9.7%).The clinical pregnancy rate(4.4%) of tube factor infertility was significantly lower than that of unexplained(25.08%),ovulation disorder(18.48%),male factors(12.59%),and endometriosis(12.62%),within the different groups(P0.01).The clinical pregnancy rate of the four latter groups wasn′t significantly difference,but that of unexplained was the highest.Women′s age affect the pregnancy rate.Conclusion: AIH / IUI has a very satisfying effect to treat the infertility causing by non-tubal factors.
