Each metamaterial composing of the designed metalens is tightly controlled in its design for high transmission and phase distribution of scattered lights at each location required for the lens equation. This work covers design methods on how to simply find optimized individual metamaterials, and how to easily acquire metalens simulation results at 633 nm of an operating wavelength on freeware simulators, the MAXIM and SMD tools.
