Abstract
Purpose:The purpose of our study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of CT in ureteral endometriosis. Methods:The clinical, surgical data and CT images of 6 patients with ureteral endometriosis proved by pathology were reviewed retrospectively. Results:Urinary tract obstruction and hydronephrosis were detected by CT in all patients. The ureteral lesions were at unilateral left in four patients, unilateral right in one patient, bilateral in one patient. The CT appearances included intraluminal mass or nodule(2 cases),ureteral wall thickening(1 cases),and concurrent with cysts(3 cases). Conclusion:CT exam plays an important role in identifying the exact anatomical location, extent and depth of the lesions.
