State-trait anxiety condition and its affecting factors in pregnant women linked to the COVID-19 pandemic
This quantitative study investigated state-trait anxiety levels and influencing factors among 656 pregnant women in Turkey during the COVID-19 pandemic using digital data collection and standardized inventories. The results indicated that while most participants were concerned about the pandemic's impact on their pregnancy and delivery, over half postponed health checks, with trait anxiety predominantly moderate and state anxiety mostly low in the sample. The authors concluded that pregnant women are a priority group requiring screening and early intervention for affective disorders to ensure maternal and fetal well-being during crises. The paper does not explicitly discuss endometriosis or adenomyosis; it was included in the corpus via a keyword match in the upstream search index.
