Abstract
The spread of the SARS-CoV- 2 virus and the COVID-19 disease highlighted the issue of the delay in the development and authorization of medicines, as well as the insufficiency of the legislative and regulatory mechanisms adopted in order to reduce the delay in the entry of medicines into the market and the need to adopt more efficient solutions.
