Abstract
We present a genome assembly from an individual female Cosmorhoe ocellata (the Purple Bar moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence has a total length of 327.70 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.54%) is scaffolded into 32 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z and W sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 16.09 kilobases in length.
