Abstract

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of laparoscopic uterine artery blockage combined with focus resection in treatment of adenomyosis.Methods:50 patients with adenomyosis underwent laparoscopic uterine artery blockage combined with focus resection,for the patients with chocolate cyst of ovary and endometriosis,decollement of ovarian chocolate cyst and cauterization of endometriosis focus were performed;for the patients with pelvic adhesion,lysis of adhesion was performed.The changes of menstrual amount,degrees of dysmenorrhea and uterine volumes were observed .Results:After treatment,the menstrual amount reduced to (47±17)% of that before treatment;the proportions of complete,markedly and partial remission of dysmenorrhea were 60% (30 patients),26% (13 patients) and 14% (7 patients).The pain score and degrees of dysmenorrhea after treatment were lower than those before treatment (P0.01).The average uterine volume decreased by 42.8%.Conclusion:Laparoscopic uterine artery blockage combined with focus resection is a novel,effective and safe method for the treatment of adenomyosis,which is also easily accepted by patients.
