Abstract

It is devecoping gradually for the research and application of continuous administration of combined oral contraceptives was developed according to the demand of women which has different dosing regimens and days of extended use.It showed some advantages of continuous administration including better efficacy of contraception,improvement of pre-menstrual syndrome,treatment of endometriosis-related dysmenorrhea andpelvic pain and melioration of mood.In the meantime,it has less bleeding,no abnormal endometrial findings,low-risk thrombosis,normal parameters of thyroid hormones,androgen and hemostasis and no increasing side effects.Further attention must be paid.
