ANN AND FA Based Wearable Hybrid Fractal Antenna Using Split Rings for Wireless Applications

Abstract
A distinct, ANN and FA-based Wearable Hybrid Fractal Antenna using Split Rings (WHFASR) is explored in this manuscript. The textile substrate chosen for WHFASR is jean having a dielectric constant of 1.7, thickness 1 mm and dimensions 51 x 51 x 1 mm 3 . The Meander and Koch curves are merged using a mathematical tool Iterative Function System (IFS) for achieving better performance and miniaturization for the designed antenna. ANN demonstrating gives a promising arrangement, particularly for taking care of different issues that are generally experienced in science and engineering. Using the Firefly algorithm (FA) the feed position of the designed antenna is optimized. For implantation of ANN and FA approaches, a data set of 50 WHFASR is generated by varying the feed position using parametric analysis in HFSS software. The proposed WHFASR exhibits two resonant frequency bands 2.44 and 5.01 GHz and S (1, 1) < -10 dB are observed at these resonant frequencies. The proposed WHFASR is manufactured and experienced using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) and the simulated and experimental outcomes are compared to observe the reliability of the WHFASR.
