Clinical analysis of endometriosis in 968 patients

Abstract
Objective To explore effectiveness of surgical therapy in treating dysmenorrhea and infertility of endometriosis.Methods The medical records of 968 patients were retrospectively reviewed and patients with dysmenorrhea and/or infertility were given follow-up visits.Results 968 patients were given surgical therapy.The patient who complains of dysmenorrhea occupied 55.58%.The patient who complain of infertility occupied 28.20%.621 people should be given follow-up visits,501 of whom were given(80.67%).The painful symptom was relieved in 85.03% patients who complain of dysmenorrhea.The post-operative pregnancy rate was 60%.Conclusion Surgical therapy could relieve painful symptom obviously and improve infertility.
