Abstract
Although most possible causes of abnormal vaginal bleeding in perimenopausal women are hysteromyoma, adenomyosis and endometrial cancer, trophoblastic disease should be considered as a rare condition.Correct diagnosis should be obtained by comprehensive analysis of clinical manifestations and various auxiliary examinations.Because the rate of malignant transformation for the hydatidiform mole during perimenopausal period is relatively high, prophylactic chemotherapy before dilation curettage is recommended.Because the prognosis of trophoblastic neoplasm during perimenopausal period is poor, combination chemotherapy supplemented with surgery is the key to successful treatment.
