Establishment and comparison of rat deep infiltrating endometriosis model.

Objective To establish the deep infiltrating endometriosis model using SD and Wistar female rat and to conduct the comparative study.Methods 10 SD and 30 Wistar rats were transplanted with autologous concave rectum uterus using surgery-induced method.Results The successful rate in the SD rats was 80.0% and the successful rate for Wistar rats was 76.7%.The mortality for SD was 10.0% and for Wistar was 23.3% (P0.05).The survival rate of Wistar rat can be 100%, and the volume of graft formation was bigger than the SD rat (P0.05).Conclusion The establishment of deep infiltrating endometriosis model in Wistar and SD rat is feasible.It can be achieved by transplanting the uterine endometrial in uterus rectum concave.
