Abstract

Laparoscopy were performed in 353 cases of infertility during the period from Oct.1991 to 0ct. 1993. There were 4 of LUF and of luteal phase deficiency among 70 cases of endocrinologic disturbance. In 18 hypogonadotropic amenorrhea patients 8 cases of ovaries were actually smaller than the normal one and 3 cases of ovaries showed cord-like.6 cases of premature ovarian failure and gonadotropic resistant ovarian syndrome were distinguished and 9 cases of PCOS were confirmed.Unexplained infertility with anovulation were 6 cases and hyperprolactinemia in infertils were 5 cases.Laparoscopy revealed that endometriosis was.the most common cause(52.5%)in 236 cases of pelvic pathology and nonspecific inflammation was the second one.Laparoscopy gave the accurate diagnosis rate of unexplained infertility from 15% down to 2.8%. Laparoscopy compared with hSG to elucidate the tube patency showed the accurate rate 97.2% and 95.8% respectively, while up to 100% when combined with the two methods. The above showed that the laparoscopy may directly observs the pelvic lesion and its degree which would give accurate diagnosis of the pathology of ovaries and tubes to indicate the correct treatment for elevation of pregnant rate.
