Abstract
Objective To compare the effect of different dose mifepristone in the treatment of endometriosis. Methods Sixty-four patients with endometriosis in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2011 were selected as research object, and they were randomly divided into two groups, 32 cases of group A were treated with mifepristone 12.5 mg/d for 6 months at first day of the menstrual cycle, 32 cases of group B were treated with mifepristone 6.25 mg/d, 4 days in each menstrual cyclefor 6 months at first day of the menstrual cycle, then the hormones before and after the treatment and adverse reactions rate of two groups were compared. Results The serum Progesterone (P) of group B after the treatment was lower than that of group A, and the adverse reactions rate was lower than that of group A, P0.05, and other hormones of two groups had no significant differences, P0.05. Conclusion Low-dose mifepristone has better treatment effect for endometriosis, and the adverse reactions rate is lower.
