Abstract

Objectives:This sluds is observed the changes of lipid meladolism of patients who had merstrdl dysfumcion trealed by triphaser and compave with those of convential sequential estrogen any progestion.Patients with menstrual dysfunction were assigned randomly 2:1 to two groups with 60 cases and 32 cases in experiment and control groups separately completing the therapy. With Three Cyles The experiment group took triphaser(one pill daily)21 days from the 3 rd day of menstrual cycle of freom the first visiting day of amenorrhea;the control group took EE(0.03mg daily)20 days with the later 10 days combined with MPA 4mg twice daily. Each group began the second treatment period on the 3rd day of withdrawal blleding and three months duration was needed.Triphaser had little clinical effects on the lipid metabolism of patients with dysfunctional uterine bleeding with increased TC and LDL C and no change of TG,HDL C,VLDL C,TC/HDL C,and LDL/ C/HDL C(TG decreased and LDL C/ HDL C increased in ovulational DUB patients). However,on patients with amenorrhea and perimenopause.Triphaser exerted and untoward effects with increased TC/HDL C and LDL C/HDL C besides the above changes in the other two types of patients. All the changes in lipid metabolism were within the normal range compared with those of control group and had no statistical significance.
