Australian Supermarket Object Set (ASOS): A Benchmark Dataset of Physical Objects and 3D Models for Robotics and Computer Vision
preprint
OA: closed
Abstract
We introduce the Australian Supermarket Object Set, a dataset comprising 50 readily available supermarket items with high-quality 3D textured meshes. Designed for both real-world and simulated environments, this dataset supports benchmarking in robotic manipulation and computer vision tasks. This paper details the dataset’s construction process, object categorization, and its potential to enhance reproducibility and advance research in robotics and computer vision.
