Abstract

This study examined the ability of individuals to distinguish between Amsterdam tap and Chaudfontaine mineral water using a double-blind experiment with 90 participants. Previous research suggests that people are generally unable to taste the difference between tap and bottled water; however, our results showed a slight preference for Chaudfontaine.
