Clinical Analysis on Postoperative Medicine Therapy to Patients with Endometriosis

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of postoperative combined medicine therapy to patients with endometriosis.Methods Retrospectively analysis was carried out according to the clinical data of 127 patients with endometriosis from April 2008 to February 2010.They were divided into gestrinone and triptorelin group by individual postoperative decision.And the clinical effects,recurrence rates and pregnancy rates were compared between the two groups.Results All patients were confirmed pathological diagnosis of endometriosis.Follow-up data showed that the recurrence rate of gestrinone group and triptorelin group were 14.52% and 3.08% respectively.And the cumulative pregnancy rate of gestrinone group was 51.61%,which was lower than 69.23% of triptorelin group.There was significant difference of the recurrence rate and pregnancy rate between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Gestrinone and triptorelin are both effective in the postoperative treatment for endometriosis.Triptorelin can significantly reduce the recurrence rate and increase the pregnancy rate.
