Abstract

Objective To observe the ginsenoside Rg3′s influence on the cyst of endometriosis rats model ectopic endometrium. Methods Wistar rats endometriosis models were established referring to Jones methods, successful endometriosis rats were divided into control group, ginsenoside Rg3 group and gestrinone group each with 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks and 8 weeks all 12 groups.Ectopic endometrium histomorphology and grafts volume were observed. Results After treated by ginsenoside Rg3,the volume of grafts was significantly reduced (P0.05),the expression of MVD of ectopic tissue were significantly lower (P0.05).The volume of grafts of ginsenoside Rg3 therapy group was smaller than gestrinone therapy group(P0.05). Conclusion The volume of grafts of endometriosis rats model ectopic endometrium was smaller after the therapy of ginsenoside Rg3.The probable mechanism is that ginsenoside Rg3 has antiangiogenesis effect on the cyst of ectopic endometrium.
