Combined treatment of endometriosis-related chronic pelvic pain with hysteroscopy and laparoscopy

Abstract
Objective To evaluate treatment of endometriosis-related chronic pelvic pain by hysteroscopic and laparoscopic.Methods Prospective study was formed.We managed 49 patients with endometriosis-related chronic pelvic pain who were surgeried in our hospital from April 2007 to April 2009.Forty-nine patients were randomly divided into hysteroscopy and laparoscopy combined treatment group(26 cases) and transabdominal surgical treatment group(23 cases).Results Hysteroscopy andlaparoscopic group was prior to the transabdominal group on blood loss,postoperative anal exhaust time,duration after surgery and improvement of menstrual abnormalities.There was no difference between them about operative time,pain relief or efficient(P0.05).Conclusion For the EM-related CPP patients,we should pay attention to diagnosis and treatment of intrauterine diseases.Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy surgery is as effective as abdominal surgery on treatment EM-related CPP,and has advantages of minimally invasive,and can make the intra-uterine diseases to be discovered and treated.It's an effective way to improve the diagnosis and treatment.
