The impact of endometrial stromal cell proliferation and Ang-2 of guizhi fuling capsule on patients with ectopic endometriosis

Abstract
Objective
To investigate the impact of endometrial stromal cell proliferation and angiopoietin -2 (Ang-2) of guizhi fuling capsule on patients with ectopic endometriosis.
Methods
One hundred and twenty cases of EM were randomly divided into observation group(n=60)and control group(n=60). The control group were treated with marvelon and diphereline (8 mg/d). The observation group were given on the basis of guizhi fuling capsule (3/time, 3 times/d)for six months. The treatment effect of the two groups were analyzed. The growth inhibition rate before and after treatment were detected by MTT and the leveles of measured Ang-2 of the two groups were detected by ELISA.
Results
The total effective rate of control group and observation group were 96.67% and 83.33%, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The total pelvic physical symptoms score, total score positive signs of observation group were lower than before treatment, and the symptom scores of observation group after treatment were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). The ectopic endometrial stromal cells absorbance (OD) values and the levels of Ang-2 in observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).
Conclusions
Guizhi fuling capsule can effectively inhibit endometrial stromal cell proliferation and Ang-2 secretion, improve clinical symptoms and improve patient outcomes.
