The study on deeply infiltrating endometriosis.

Endometriosis has different forms,each with its own pathogenesis.Deeply infiltrating endometriosis is defined histologically that the endometriotic implants invade more than 5 mm.So far a greater awareness has been paid on the disease,mainly because it is strongly related with pelvic pain and deep dyspareunia.The clinical implications of the disease as well as pathogenesis,diagnosis and current management are reviewed.
