Abstract
The etiology and pathogenesis of endometriosis have not been interpreted well for long, even the most widely accepted theory of retrograde menstruation cannot satisfactorily explain the development of endometriosis. The biological properties of thioredoxin such as anti-oxidation,inhibiting apoptosis, intercellular adhesion, tissue invasive and angiogenesis were found with the in-depth study of thioredoxin, which have certain intersections with the study of endometriosis, especially with the theory of determinant of uterine eutopic endometrium, which is also called the pattern of 3A.
