The concentration of Gold (Au), Silver (Ag), Arsenic (As), Antimony (Sb), Cobalt (Co), Zinc (Zn), Iron (Fe), Calcium (Ca), and Potassium (K) Gold have been determined in ore sample and at wall rock facies in various zone within deposits by using Instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) to understand their distribution. The gold content in the wall rocks facies can reach up to 10.28 ppm. Statistical analysis of gold distribution shows significant correlation with Silver (Ag) and Calcium (Ca). The high content of gold present in the north of the deposit is associated to the maximal content of Fe, K, Ca, Co, Sb. The variation of chemical composition of lithology is significant farthest north of the deposit. The chemical composition of the altered rock is the determining factor in the distribution of rate limiting elements in gold extraction from the Amesmessa deposit.
