Abstract
Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) is an ever growing field that attracts much attention for research and development due to its increasing size and complexity that resulted in having risks occurring frequently, these risks need to be identified, predicted, and mitigated since they tend to happen unexpectedly. Some supply chain industries are still struggling to mitigate these risks, that has emphasized the importance of predictions and decision making which researchers are trying to solve using mathematical techniques. This makes Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques a great approach to solve these problems with their prediction and problem solving abilities. This paper focuses on the application of AI and ML effect on improving SCRM along with data mining importance and discusses the gaps and limitations of such technologies.
