Abstract

【Objective】To investigate the clinical value of serum CA_(125) in Gynaecology diseases.【Methods】Serum CA_(125) levels were detected and retrospectively analyzed by electrochemistry-immunominescence method in 194 patients and 100 normal women.【Results】Level of serum CA_(125) increased in ovarian cancer, benign ovarian tumor, hysteromyoma, uterine adenomyosis, pelvic inflammation.Detection rates were 81.03%、19.73%、40.0%、72.73%、35.0% respectively and there were statistically significant differences in serum CA_(125) level between benign ovarian tumor and ovarian cancer(P0.01),between hysteromyoma and uterine adenomyosis(P0.05).There were statistically significant differences in specificity amomg two groups, which were diagnosed as ovarian cancer by critical values of CA_(125)35 kU/L and CA_(125) 65kU/L.【Conclusion】Level of serum CA_(125) is abnormal in ovarian cancer and some benign gynaecology diseases.Hysteromyoma and uterine adenomyosis can be identified easily by it,and specificity of ovarian cancer can be raised by critical value CA_(125)65 kU/L.
