Clinical analysis of 129 cases of ovarian endometrioma with laparoscopy

Objective To explore the clinical value of laparoscopic operation to treat ovarian endometrioma.Methods The clinical data of 129 cases of ovarian endometrioma treated by lapar oscopy were retrospectively analyzed.Results 129 cases were performed by laparoscopy,among them 78 cases under went unilateral cysts resection,48 cases under went bilateral cysts resection and 3 cases urder went unilateral adnexa resection.Salp ingostomy were performed in 5 cases.There were no post operative complications.96 cases were given gestrinone ovally for 3 to 6 months because of abnormal hepatic function.Patients were followed up for 3 years to evaluate the clinical efficacy.The results were satisfactory.Conclusions Application of Laparoscopy operation to cure ovary endometriosis is safe,effective,less harmful and less painful.Laparoscopic cystectomy is the first choice for ovarian endometrioma.It would be beneficial to ovarian function to reserve and protect the normal ovarian tissues.Ovary function should be reserved in order to prevent premature ovary failure.The application comkined with durgs after surgery can decreare the recurrence rate.
