Abstract
Objective To investigate the influence of herbal cake-separated moxibustion on plasma 6-keto-PGF 1a level in endometriosis rats.Method A SD rat model of endometriosis was made by operation. The rats were treated by herbal cake-separated moxibustion or with Western medicine danazol as a control. Results and Conclusion Herbal cake-separated moxibustion could lower plasma 6-keto-PGF 1a level in endometriosis rats, and its effect was not significantly different from that of danazol. It is suggested that lowering plasma 6-keto-PGF 1a level is one of the mechanisms by which herbal cake-separated moxibustion treats endometriosis.
