Abstract
Endometriosis of the abdominal wall is the development of endometrial tissue in the anterior part of the abdomen, usually due to an operation in which the uterus is manipulated. It is a rare entity. It is often misdiagnosed, leading to unnecessary referrals. Gynaecologists and general surgeons need to be aware of this entity to avoid any embarrassment to the patient due to delayed diagnosis. Medical treatment was ineffective. Surgical excision of the mass was the treatment for endometriotic lesions.
