A simulation study on risk emergence mechanism and transmission path of coal mine workers' unsafe behaviours

Abstract

Abstract In coal mine production activities, unsafe behaviours of workers are one of the important factors leading to frequent accidents. In view of the complex and changing working environment of coal mines, the safety risks faced by workers are high, therefore, exploring the internal mechanism of the unsafe behaviours of coal mine workers and the action mechanism between the influencing factors has become the top priority of studying the unsafe behaviours of coal mine workers. First of all, with the help of text mining techniques, this paper extracts a total of 26 factors affecting the unsafe behaviours of coal mine workers. Then, DEMATEL-ISM method is used to construct the mutual influence mechanism among the factors influencing unsafe behaviours and the hierarchical logical relationship among the factors, and then the key cause nodes affecting the unsafe behaviours of coal mine workers are obtained, which are work experience and psychological status. Then, Arena simulation technology was used to analyse the risk transmission path among the factors influencing unsafe behaviours, taking work experience and psychological status as the starting point, and the risk transmission rule among the factors influencing unsafe behaviours of coal mine workers was obtained. Finally, specific control countermeasures for coal mine workers' unsafe behaviours are proposed from five aspects: safety management, individual, group, safety leadership and physical environment. The results of this study can provide important theoretical support and practical guidance for coal mine safety production, help to reduce the accident rate, ensure the life safety of coal mine workers and the sustainable development of enterprises.
